Volunteers have been out doing good this Fall, but nonprofits are still in need of our help.
The Volunteer committee has been busy coordinating more events where volunteers can help.
Check out these opportunities where you can use your paid volunteer hours, and help to spread the good.
Instead of completing a survey, please email the Vermont Volunteer Committee and the Texas Volunteer Committee to sign up for an event and you’ll receive a meeting invite with all of the info that you will need.

Vermont River Conservancy
The Vermont River Conservancy seeks Volunteers for their annual mailing the week of November 6th.
They are a local non-profit working statewide to protect land along our rivers, and they send out one fundraising appeal mailing each year.
Help is needed to hand-address envelopes, write a short note on the letters (they provide sample notes), folding inserts, sealing and placing a sticker on the envelope as well as a stamp.
They are happy to offer space in their downtown Montpelier office or they can provide volunteers with all they need to get the letters out from wherever is most convenient. Hours are flexible as well.
Please contact Richarda Ericson at vrc@vermontriverconservancy.org or call 802-229-0820 to sign up to help the week of November 6th.
