Spread the Good: Doing the Right Thing In Compliance

We’ve got some new examples of how our teammates live our Do Good culture in what they do every day.

This is our occasional feature called Spread the Good, where we’re looking to celebrate how we live our values in the office.

This time, the good was spread by folks in the compliance area. Here are some excerpts from some recent emails that compliance received.

“Thank you for what you do.  I can only imagine how tough your job is at times.  Just want to let you know we appreciate you.” Written by an agent after Sandy Mollett followed up on a problem he encountered on a school campus he serves.

“I truly appreciate your email and your assistance in the matter we talked about yesterday. Your professionalism is duly noted.” Written by a policyholder after Karolyn Bailey helped with a withdrawal request that he found challenging.

“Thanks very much for kind words. You are proactively awesome. You know me like a book. I am proud and pleased to be colleagues and friends.” An agent wrote to Laura Plourde after she provided advice on a communication.

“You are an absolute rock star! Your unwavering support for our team … is unmatched, and absolutely invaluable. We are so very appreciative of you and your efforts and could not possibly say THANK YOU enough.” A colleague wrote to Christie Keene after she helped with a project.

We know there are plenty of other examples of this kind of great service and team spirit. National Life employees treat each other like family.

We’d like to continue celebrating this culture with our Spread the Good feature. Who do you know who has gone above and beyond? Or who has simply done his or her job and in the process made someone else’s day a little better?

Please let us know and we will help to celebrate them here. Email Ross Sneyd or Tanya Culcleasure some basics and we’ll track down the details.
