Social Security and Medicare: What You Need to Know

We had such a great turn out  when Elaine Simmons, Social Security Advisor was here in April, we asked her to come back.

She will be offering a couple of group sessions to talk about Social Security and Medicare and will be available for One-on-Ones to talk about your own personal situation.

Elaine will help you understand when to start your retirement benefits and how to maximize them along with understanding when to enroll in Medicare and when it is considered primary insurance.

The group and one-on-one sessions are for employees considering retirement, have parents or family members considering retirement, or for those who are curious as to what happens once we reach this stage in our lives.

We will link Vermont and Texas for the group sessions.

Group Sessions – Social Security and Medicare Benefits – No need to sign up.

• September 13, 8-9:30am EST, Blue Jay• September 14, 12-1:30pm EST, ThrushOne-on-One Sessions

Elaine, suggests that you bring a recent copy of the Social Security Statements for you and your spouse (if applicable) for the One-on-One sessions.

To register, go to the NLGroup University on the employee portal (you will see the link on the upper right-hand corner of the home page), type in the Search Bar Social Security One-on-One, and pick a date and time you would like your one-on-one.

You will receive an appointment on your calendar. If you are in Texas, please let us know so we can set up a skype session for you.
