Megan Wright from the Facilities and Purchasing Department  was surprised yesterday with a Kudos award for her help with the Vermont campus BBQ last month.

Megan was nominated by her colleague, Tanya Culcleasure for all of her help during the months leading up to and the day of the big event.

Here’s some of Tanya’s nomination:

“Without Megan’s help we would not have had the spectacular event that we did. For the past three years now, she’s helped me bring the theme of the BBQ to life. The planning starts months in advance and usually starts with a vision of what I’d like the BBQ to be.

Megan helps bring that vision to life. This year, Megan helped research everything from cotton candy vendors, to authentic ring toss games from the 1960’s. She also volunteered to help  the day of the event and took the lead coordinating the set up of the high striker, and cotton candy and popcorn, which were highlights of the BBQ.

It wasn’t just her help that made the BBQ the success that it was. It was her attitude, she’s always willing to lend a hand, offer advice, and be a friend when I need it. For these reasons I believe  Megan earned the Kudos award.”
