We received this thank you from Vermont Foodbank’s Volunteer Coordinator, Hanna Snyder.

Thank you so much for volunteering with us yesterday. You all did some serious amounts of sorting and packing – thank you! Rob and I were impressed. You packed 350 boxes (11,550 pounds/17,500 meals) for our Commodity Supplemental Food Program (CSFP). You should all feel so proud of your hard work and dedication to fighting hunger.  The work you did yesterday translates to individuals and families all over receiving nourishing food and that is awesome.

There is no one face of hunger. Hungry Vermonters are your neighbors, friends, and family so each box you sort and back you pack is getting us that much closer to reaching each person in need. We are on track to distribute a record-breaking 12.5 million pounds of food this year and that is thanks to YOU. To learn more about what we do and why, visit: www.vtfoodbank.org.

Thank you again for donating your time to fighting hunger in Vermont and special thanks to you, Heather, for organizing this great day. Hope to see you back here soon!
