National Life Group sponsored youth cricket team, the Dallas Sharks, won this year’s Texas Independence cup. Anu Dixit, from our data analytics team in Dallas, has been coaching for over three years in the Dallas Youth Cricket League. This year he coached our sponsored team in the under 16 boys category.
The Texas Independence Cup featured 14 teams from around the country who competed on July 1st and 4th.
Our team beat out others from all over the country, including Atlanta, Chicago, St. Louis, and Houston.
Anu said the team was proud to be sponsored by National Life and featured our video on Cause! At the tournament banquet.
“It was heartwarming for me to see the kids winning this national tournament as part of coaching staff,” he said.
The Dallas Cricket League is a non-profit organization that gives kids of all ages the opportunity to engage in the sport during the spring, summer, and fall.
