Home Share Now has a new volunteer program, GIFT (Giving Is From The Heart).
GIFT connects volunteers with home providers as a way to help older adults and people with disabilities.
The volunteer does not live in the home, but can provide ongoing time or one-time services to home providers.

A friendly, retired woman elder, who just celebrated a milestone birthday and loves singing; is looking to connect with someone who also enjoys singing. She lives in the Waitsfield, VT area and would like to have someone sing-a-long with her. If you can carry a tune or just like to sing, this is the perfect opportunity to share your talent. Her favorite type of song is anything that would generally be sung in a church-type setting.
