Two industry publications recently featured articles written by National Life authors.

CEO Mehran Assadi wrote a piece for Business News Daily featuring his own leadership lessons.

He wrote that his top lesson is to respect, value and listen to all members of his team.

“Everyone in our company knows our value statement and lives by it,” Mehran wrote. “The beauty of Do Good, be Good, Make good is that it talks about our intentions, our actions, and our outcomes. All in six words.”

Key Account Representative Xan Rouselle wrote a separate article for California Broker Magazine. His piece focused on his own efforts to attract younger workers to the insurance industry.

“I’m always ready to make a pitch to my fellow Millennials about the value and rewards of this work,” Xan wrote. “When trying to recruit agents. I don’t talk about product for 20 minutes or more. Instead, I focus on what we do in our industry, and of course, the purpose-driven mission of my company.”
