Bicyclists are a very common sight around National Life’s Vermont campus this time of year.
The culture around healthy living, physical fitness and especially bicycling is so good that the company is recognized with a bronze award as a “Bicycle Friendly Business” by the League of American Bicyclists.
Are you aware of your bicycling opportunities at National Life’s Vermont Campus?
- Outdoor Bikes You Can Use
National Life owns 4 outdoor bikes that NLG employees can use at work to run errands, or just to get out and enjoy the weather. Stop by the People Center to sign one out. There are also helmets and tool bags available. The bikes are under the patio by the cafeteria.
- Improved Facilities for our bike commuters!
Did you know that there’s a bike maintenance station on the west side of the building, underneath the cafeteria’s patio overhang? The station includes a pump, a bicycle stand and a variety of tools. It’s located next to the bicycle parking stand outside the locker rooms and is available to anyone to use.
