Home Share Now is in need of volunteers to help with transportation assistance.
In addition to matching people and homes, Home Share Now offers the GIFT program, (Giving Is From The Heart).
GIFT utilizes volunteers to assist home providers with services for those who are 55+ or people living with disabilities.
Services requested may include errands, meals, chores or companionship, just to mention a few.
A volunteer is someone who does not live in the home, but can provide ongoing time or one-time services to home providers.

Home Share Now would like to connect with a volunteer who could provide transportation for a couple who are in their 70’s, living in E. Barre, VT. Rides are needed primarily for medical appointments and grocery shopping. The husband has Parkinson’s and the wife is a cancer survivor. They are very sociable and have been married for over 50 years.
