This past Friday volunteers from our Texas campus were out doing good at the 17th Annual Empty Bowls event at the Morton H. Meyerson Symphony Center.
Kathy Bennett, Minh Pham, Kango Arisa, and Mary Morrison attended the event, which is one of the biggest fundraisers of the year for The North Texas Food Bank (NTFB).
The group assisted with the set-up of the event, greeted attendees, assisted with VIP check-in and chef stations, as well as check bowls.
All bowls were handcrafted by some of Texas’ finest artists and restaurants, and all of the proceeds raised by purchasing a bowl help feed hungry neighbors across North Texas.
