National Life Group gives back to the community in many ways, one of which is by donating refurbished laptops. Many nonprofit organizations use outdated computers making it difficult to serve others. That’s when our National Life IT teammates step in, providing refurbished hardware when we have it available.

Recently we had a request by Allison Levine, the Executive Director of Community Harvest of Central Vermont. Allison emailed us, “We are looking for one or two used computers to use in the CHCV office for data input, bookkeeping, mailings, reports, etc. Part of the model includes tracking all the produce donated, which allows donor farmers to take a tax deduction, another win-win of the program.” This organization’s mission of providing food is perfectly aligned with National Life’s cause to help end childhood hunger. CHCV has also been a recipient of grants through the National Life Group Foundation and has tabled at Do Good Fest.

Thanks to Sara Palmisano and Dana Potter, Allison soon had two laptops to help CHCV do good.
