National Life Group is passionate about lifting up children and families in our communities. One way we did that this year was to support Prevent Child Abuse Vermont (PCAVT) and its 2022 PCAVT Walk for Children, which occurred on October 1.
We’ve been supporting PCAVT since 2015 through grants, sponsorships and Share the Good. Community Relations Specialist Jessica Russo also serves on their board. (Thanks for your service, Jess!)
PCAVT is the Vermont Chapter of Prevent Child Abuse America and the National Circle of Parents. Its mission is to promote and support healthy relationships within families, schools and communities to eliminate child abuse.
PCAVT’s Development Director, Mary Thon, visited our headquarters in Montpelier to meet with Jess recently and present National Life with a plaque recognizing our support.
On top of that, our amazing IT department also donated four laptops to them. The laptops will help PCAVT families have access to family support programs and access to other services, such as school, work, and educational resources. Mary was also able to meet with one of our amazing desktop support technicians, Chip Harris, to thank him for our generosity.
Well done, team!
