Typically, any Tuesday after a Monday Holiday is always their busiest, but Presidents Day Tuesday tops them all. On most days, the CEC receives just over 3,200 calls from agents and policyholders. That number spikes significantly post Holiday. In fact, the day after Presidents Day in 2020, the CEC received 5,169 calls, a single-day record that still stands. And that number doesn’t include the work needed to respond to emails, escalations, and internal problem-solving. It’s an all-hands-on-deck approach with not only CEC leaders jumping in to assist but support staff as well.
This team of around 100 people is on the front lines every day doing incredible work often under immense pressure. They deal with tragedy and triumph, happy and sad and they do it with incredible compassion, professionalism, and an unrivaled commitment to our WHY.
